At a very young age, Suzanne sensed something in her life was missing and set out to find it. This quest took her down many different roads. Patricia York comes to A Course in Miracles with a passion for Truth; what else is really important when approaching one's own "Nearness"? A writer and performer, Patricia sometimes uses a story-line or a song to coax the contracted mind out of it's stuck position, and into the spaciousness of what we call the Heart. The "Heart", however, is simply the mind that has been set free of limitations. Be prepared to check (suspend) your beliefs at the door; you can have them all back at the end of the class.

Bret and Debbie Whiting bring a refreshing enthusiasm for peace. They describe themselves as "two crazy people that aren't as crazy thanks to A Course in Miracles." (We all may have hope...) Debbie and Bret are raising their son Jake with the influence of A Course in Miracles as well as their knowledge of other masters and modalities. It seems his spirituality has developed naturally. Deb works in real estate and Bret works in property management. It's fun to see how they choose to extend love and connect with the Holy Spirit to find peace in their daily lives.

Hi, I'm Celeste Cohorn and I created Reconnect to Spirit as a way to assist and promote our connection with God. I recently relocated to Utah to connect with God (the mountains seemed to be calling me). I thought my connection would occur through the peacefulness of skiing and it did in some ways. I can remember sitting on the lift and thinking, "Why haven't I connected to God? I'm not sure that it gets more peaceful or serene than this." An answer came from a feeling within--God isn't out there, He's within. The next trip down the slope I started thinking about skiing from the inside out. At that moment I found peace in my skiing. I wasn't as focused on my skill development--although I continue to improve. Mostly I was focused on the JOY of skiing. It was no accident I was led by my favorite authors to A Course in Miracles during the same period of time. The teachings of ACIM have shown me the way to find peace within anytime anywhere. For the first time in my life I am conscious of my inner teacher (the Holy Spirit, my connection to God). Bonnie Henderson has studied A Course in Miracles for almost two decades. She can remember when she kept her studies very private because of the judgment and fear her family and church had about the teachings. A Course in Miracles began changing her life experience and brought about a peace, love, and joy she had never known before through relationship with herself and others. She was co-host of a radio talk show on relationship with Rodney Henderson. She has been a dancer, teacher, and choreographer for the past 45 years and is director of Authentic World Dance in her mountain retreat at 8,000 feet where women of all ages (and men also) come to experience the joy of authentic movement for self-expression and integration of A Course in Miracles concepts. She has traveled throughout the world doing humanitarian work, but believes the real work is right at home--with ourselves!

Rodney Henderson has traveled the world doing humanitarian work and although he has been teaching A Course in Miracles for nearly 45 years, he still considers himself a student. He sees energy (medical intuitive) and has worked with hundreds of people helping them integrate A Course in Miracles concepts into their lives. He was a Bishop in the LDS Church in Sonoma at the time of the first A Course in Miracles publication and received one of the first copies.
